La Historia Argentina

Cual será el origen de todo?

  En clase vimos que los mitos siempre intentan de responder a preguntas e incógnitas sobre la creación de todo lo que nos rodea y el lugar en el que vivimos. En este caso yo voy a responder estas incógnitas según lo que yo pienso.

    El mundo es nuestro hogar, y es pura coincidencia, tiene todas las condiciones específicas para que nosotros existamos, tal vez si estuviera un poco más lejos o cerca del sol, nada de lo que conocemos existiría. El mundo es literalmente todo para nosotros. ¿Pero que lugar ocupamos en el? Yo creo que todos somos actores de una película y cumplimos nuestros roles y papeles constantemente, aunque algunos más importantes que otros, pero todos  hechos para contribuir en  evolucionar nuestro hogar. Sin embargo, hay villanos que en lugar de hacerlo acortan la vida de la tierra por acciones ambiciosas o incivilizadas. Yo creo que todo empezó por la ciencia con la explosión del Big Bang y desde entonces se manifestó en el universo entero para crear todas las maravillas en el, la mayor de todas, nuestro mundo.

The Destructive Cyclones

Cyclones are tropical storms that develop in the Indian and South Pacific Oceans, if this storm develops in the Atlantic or Eastern Pacific Ocean it is called Hurricane, and if it develops in the Western Pacific Ocean or the Philippines it is called typhoon. They are formed when the ocean is at it hottest point, that is around 27 degrees. The gas in the air over the ocean starts to heat, because of this, it begins to rise. Then, a centre of low pressure is developed and sucks air to the centre. Wind starts to increase it speed around the centre at about 150kph in a circular swirl of cloud. All around the cyclone, there are torrential rains from the cumulu-nimbus clouds, while in the centre it is calm and dry. As these cyclones can destruct almost anything depending on their strength, a scale was created to know how destructive a cyclone can be, there are 5 levels. In addition, to identify this storms there is a determined list of human names, one of the most recent and destructive cyclones was Irma. Obviously, these huge storms affect humans. Some of the things they cause are: loss of life, destruction of houses and buildings, make roads and bridges to be interrupted and floods which also contain bacterias transporting diseases. If we want to be prepared for a situation like this we have to: evacuate if necessary, keep a considerable amount of food and water in case you can’t go out for a long time, ge knowledge about how to behave in these conditions and be sure of having radios and full batteries in case that communications services stop working.

A visit to the Gothic World

In the language class, with Andrea, we got together groups and we had to present our Gothic Novel, by following the characteristics of the graphic novel which are: depression, black and white colors. In addition it doesn't show feelings. Moreover, this type of novels is used in comics through an ironic look. However, in the novel we can notice a depressive atmosphere that is represented all along the story, a house surrounded by a graveyard and a man in terrifical environment, showing a corpse that maker him start reflecting about that strange dark appears in the novel, that creates a sense of interest and shock. We use Storyboard That to create our Gothic Graphic Novel.
